Yeah I see what you're saying, it doesn't really make it clear there that there are a couple of letters to send:
a) Preliminary Request for repayment
b) Letter Before Action
You're best off reading all the FAQs and step by steps at the consumeractiongroup forum, if I'm being honest.
But seriously, it's worth doing. I got back over £1000 without even filing my claim.
And no-one so far has filed a claim and not got their money back. Particularly if it's a large sum of money, it should definitely be done.
Only thing is, the charges don't total over £5000 do they? As there's a different procedure if they do.
