My brother just bought a new computer and I wouldlike to know which are the best virus scan softare to install:-

Any of these are good:-

Spybot - Search & Destroy
AVG Anti Virus
Adware

I run my PC with these three (assuming you mean Ad-Aware; careful, there are sneaky ones with similar names out there) plus Kerio firewall, and have never had a problem. Seems to catch pretty well everything. IMO, worth paying for the full version of AVG so that it updates automatically.

That's useful info - thanks. Didn't used to; you had to go to the actual website regularly and download.
