hi,
i was looking at signing up via quidco for a FD account. £45.00 from quidco, £50.00 from FD.
i was checking the terms of the offer and found these 2 statements.
"Your Bank Account is designed to handle all your day-to-day banking. So, once your account is up and running, we ask you to pay in at least £1,000 each month or maintain a balance greater than £1,000, whichever suits you, otherwise other rates may apply."
"When you apply for a Bank Account online and transfer your salary/income, we will add £50 to your account."
so my question is, could i open the FD account, deposit £1000.00 and do nothing else? i cant see i am obliged to do a salary transfer(as it says "transfer income" which is the £1000.00 i have mentioned)or do DD's through them.
does anyone know how long the £50.00 takes to arrive in the account? is closing a current account a matter of telling them just to close it?
thanks alot in advance.

pfpf - the criteria for the incentive is that for the bank account you must have a credit of £1000 in the account and have your salary income mandated to it. You must also have the correct marketing code when applying for the account. If all this has been met the £50 should credit your account 28 days later (after it has been met).
Without the salary swaping over I wouldn't imagine you would receive the £50
