Google Chrome?

I'll happily concede that it is quick but the Google tracking nonsense - from which there is no escape - concerned me somewhat. Much like others FF is a permanent feature though I've been known to dabble with Opera.
Being a vanilla man Chrome is vanilla, Firefox is vanilla with knobs on.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

You mean, apart from going into the preferences and turning it off?Being a vanilla man Chrome is vanilla, Firefox is vanilla with knobs on.
Personally, I think Chrome is superior to Firefox in just about every way.0 -
Why is it that pages load as centred on a Widescreen laptop in IE8 but to the left on Firefox and Google chrome.....this really annoys me as I prefer the IE8 for centre loading the web pages:(0

If you don't like the tracking stuffs in Chrome but like everything else, then try Iron

All the extensions etc. for Chrome work with it too.0 -
I put chrome on as my son sugested it was faster - he likes it. I wasn't keen so took it off and then had a problem with hyperlinks. And the superantispyware was behaving oddly.
I installed firefox and let it assume default. This seemed to get rid of all that chrome left behind - then I uninstalled firefox and put IE back as default and all works OK again now. I had to unistall and reinstall superantispyware after it all too.
I wasn't keen on it anyway but even less so now I know it leaves stuff behaind and interferes with other stuff. I am not techy and can do without the hassle.
All just my ho of course.0 -
Have been a Firefox user for many years and it's still on the desktop, but now using chrome on the laptop.
Not noticed a huge difference in performance (chrome is quicker) but as far as I see it, anything that isn't IE is a winner.I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.0 -
Seems much quicker than IE and Firefox to me and now supports bookmark syncing and add-ons which is a plus.
Still use Firefox if a site doesnt work but this is becoming very rare. I hardly ever use IE anymore - its just plain awful compared to Chrome IMHO.0 -
As with everything its all down to personal preference, and mine goes with chrome it does everything I need it do and does it very well, plus lately with things like adblocker and the bookmark syncing makes it much better for me.
FF I do use on occasions, IE is just there so I can manually update windows and that is all it gets used for.
How anyone can put up with the constant "IE has experienced a problem and needs to close" is beyond me lol0
