IGT's re Gas.

My sister promted me to check out Martin Lewis website as she says on checking gas suppliers and IGT's....Southern electric (who i am with for duel fuel) DO charge for IGT's......how can this be true? I recently emailed them asking and they replied ..THEY DIDNT! Quote:-
'can confirm we do not charge any extra because your supply is through an IGT, in fact we are the only suppliers that do not add any extra on to your unit price because of this, certain other suppliers do because of the extra administration costs involved in bringing the gas supply over'.
I also asked about duel fuel discounts and they replied quote:-
'duel fuel discount is incorperated into the gas unit prices'.

Hi, if you do a search on here IGT you will find its been covered.0 -
What they say is incorrect. They are not the only Company that does not charge extra for IGT. British Gas does not and possibly other companies too.Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0

EDF do charge IGT for duel fuel (which is a bit annoying as Martins article led me to believe they didn't and that was a factor in choosing them)0
