monitor display properties

cant move my monitor display properties beyond medium in settings and its all to big for the screen ! - anybody resolved this please ?

make sure you have the latest drivers for your monitor (if available -n/a if its an old analogue type) and graphics card/graphics chipset.
failing that checking you have the latest windows patches might help (run windows update and look for optional updates related to the above, you should have this set to automatically update for important ones for security reasons)0 -
Have you reinstalled windows recently, if so, you need to install the correct graphics card drivers.!!

yes - I have re installed win xp recently and added sp 2 - is the only way to identify the card to actually physically examine it ?As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

unfortunetly I cannot update on line as my router refuses to access Explorer or Chrome so my only net access is thru AOL - so cannot run DRIVERMAX or SIS SANDRA - or WINDOWS UPDATE as they need ExplorerAs Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question !

You can either go to the manufacturers website, or find out the instance_id from device manager, or
