Free Cadbury's Fudge Chocolate Bar when you order a free T Mobile SIM

Simply register at http://freechocolatebar.co.uk/ and then fill in your details on the next page, which is the T Mobile site. This is their latest offer and was just emailed to me.

I have used the free chocolate bar site three times and always received my chocolate bar, so I recommend it highly, although I know that on past offers people haven't always received them.

I hope someone finds this useful (and I hope that this is right, as it's my first freebie post!) :)

I'm eating chocolate right now! I really shouldn't as the caffeine in it can cause me to get a migraine but I just can't help myself! It's a Milka Cream chocolate and it just melts in your mouth!!!

I get migraines too, but it doesn't stop me! Besides the white chocolate in it doesn't count!
  • Has this not been posted before? If not, a similar site?

Would you risk your personal details for a 10p chocolate bar? If someone came up to you in the street and offered you a chomp and your address details you'd be suspicious, so why not here?

The site is a home user, not a business, so almost definitely something is dodgy.

Whether you get a chomp or not is irrelevant to the fact that the t-mobile is a referral link so they're getting something from it.

They have different promotions and this is a new one of theirs.

I guess you take a chance with a lot of the sites offering freebies. Just don't sign up for any you don't feel happy with is all I can say. Personally, I think they just get a referral fee from the companies concerned.
  • In addition, it's an unsecure site. Looking at the coding, it looks to me like the form is sent via. e-mail. Which, in affect, means that it is an extremely unsecure site. Anyone with the know how (believe me, doesn't need to be huge) can access the system.

My advice, spend 10p down the shop for a chomp and directly sign up for a sim card should you wish. It may be 10p now, but it's better than the consequences of people knowing your address, right?

    Indeed. Thanks for your comments.

I went for the Chomp one a few weeks ago but changed my mind part way through the process. Today I received emails from three different people, all from Hotmail addresses, all with attachments, telling me about another free chocolate bar. When I tried to unsubscribe it said I couldn't as I wasn't on the mailing list! This is looking dodgy and I would be very wary, especially if you don't have good anti virus and anti malware protection (plus firewall) installed on your PC.
