Smart Courier- Warning for Ebay sellers

Just to let people know that I recently used this company to send a valuable Ebay item that was requested by the buy to be delivered asap.
They charged me in the region of £7 something for a 48 hour delivery. Most definately not the cheapest but because they offerd a text service to say when it wuold be collected it was ideal, as the collection day was my OH birthday.
I was text at 09.30am, to say it would be collected between 9-12. could have really done with the text earlier but hey ho.
Anyway their tracking is appalling and not updated so I had no idea what was going on and it didnt really update until today when it was to late
6 days and 2 hours later.... should have been there last friday and it arrives tuesday..
I had to constantly chase the company and even then their communication was few and far between with little info "I am looking into it" or ""im trying to locate your parcel"
When I complained i was told that 99% deliveries went fine, was not given a reason for the near 7 day delivery, no I would not be compensated or refunded.
Nice, so I get nagged twice a day by customer, i get neg feedback and I get the hassle.. and they get my money
Well not again. Be warned guys that this is a company to avoid
