wrong advice given and payment taken from me without

i booked a holiday and needed to cancel a passenger, i didn't no whether it would be cheaper to change the name and find someone else or cancel it. I emailed the help desk and asked there advice. There were two prices stated for the name change and i was unsure how much it was. the adviser told me to amend the booking on the site and a quotation would be sent to me. I did this and was charged immediately with 130 pounds. No warning, nothing.
I phoned the after care line and was told the price is stated on the site and would be taken unless over a certain amount which mine was you would receive a quotation. I am very angry i was told one thing and then my money was just taken from me. they have given me an address to complain but what is it i want from them? They have messed up and inconvenienced me but i don't no what to ask for. Its all very well shouting about it but surely I'm entitled to some sort of compensation??
