New broadband supplier problems

I have recently left AOL and signed up with Plusnet for my phone and broadband, now I am having problems with my connection.
I don't know if it's something they are doing or if I have set it up wrong.

In windows mail I am constantly getting a message saying:

YOUR SERVER HAS UNEXPECTEDLY TERMINATED THE CONNECTION, POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR THIS INCLUDE SERVER PROBLEMS, NETWORK PROBLEMS, OR A LONG PERIOD OF INACTIVITY.

Also when playing PS3 online I get signed out and have to sign back in.

Not sure where to go with this, is it AOL, Plusnet or myself causing this.

Any advice would be great
