Blackberry connecting to home wi-fi

Hi

I'm having real difficulty connecting a Blackberry Bold 9700 to my home wi-fi. Firstly it does or did connect. Very erratically. I could be in the house for three hours before it would connect and it loses connection again when it feels like it.

I contacted Orange who said to wipe the device, send the service books and try again, and now it won't connect to the home network at all when the passkey is entered. It says it's failed to associate with network.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get it working and stay working? It's not that I use it a lot, it's just annoying when the phone is two weeks old and does this!
