EDF account query
I joined EDF on 28th Jan and signd into my online account today to see a charge of £185.87 applied on 22nd Feb. Bill due 17th May.
I know I've only used £146.03 (I say 'only', very frustratingly had to pay E7 till they will change the meter, really should be £128 )
So what is the charge? do they estimate your usage each month and apply it to the account? Should I start giving them regular readings so they can get estimates right?

Hi JennyR68 - From your post it seems that EDF have estimated the reading for this bill, you can get on to them with the correct reading and they will re-issue it.
You don't say what tariff you are on, but when I first joined EDF they also issued a bill after one month, although I have a credit meter with Qtly billing.0 -
With EDF you have to supply readings to them online every quarter. They usually send an email reminder to do so.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
