PPI Newbie Help please!!!

Hi guys

I'm really hoping someone can help me. I've got a personal loan (HSBC), and 3 credit cards (HSBC, Santander, and MBNA).

I'm definately paying PPI on the loan, and one the MBNA CC. I know I have paid PPI at some stage for the other 2 CCs.

Where can I find the template letters to try and claim back any PPI that I have paid.

The personal loan from HSBC was definately a funny one. I took out the loan in Sept 2007, and they said I couldn't have the loan if I didn't take out the PPI.

All of my CCs were applied for online, and so I don't remember having the option to not pay the PPI.

Can anyont give me some advice?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi and welcome.

You reclaim the same both ways for loan ppi and credit card ppi, the link below is the guidelines of reclaiming, you will find templates, but personally if you can try to use your own words, and use the templates as a guide, also check other reasons for being mis sold, that you will find on the link, they have 8 weeks in full to respond.
I would also if you can post your letters by recorded delivery for your proof of posting.

So check this out and yell for help anytime, good luck and please keep us posted, keep at them.:)

If you require more information on your credit, and you have no information at all, you can request for a Subject access request (SAR) if you want to, they have 40 days to comply and send all they hold on you, however, there is a charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this request, again if you do this post by recorded delivery.
    SAR template letter here:

This may help, with supporting your reclaiming for PPI.
