Hi,
I'm a 28 year old female who has never been travelling before.
This is a bit of a vague question but does anyone have any general tips about where to start?
I wasn't sure whether to try and go on an organised trip with people around my age (hence the title) or whether this makes much differece at the end of the day?
Thanks

I would go on an organised trip at first. With those you are never really on your own. Make sure you have researched the area well, are always back at the coach within good time and that you are on first name terms with the tour guide who is there to help you.
I've been on a few of the coach holidays advertised on here:

Decide where you'd like to go and what you'd like to see and take it from there. There's all sorts of organised holidays - walking, cycling, painting, etc. Or if you wanted just beach stuff then what sort - quiet, vibrant, etc. If you went on a package holiday to say a smaller accommodation base it shouldn't be too difficult to get talking to people.0
