Already sick of the phone calls!

after readin this i need to share my experience of halifax and phone numbers!!!!

i am also in a dmp, and halifax have been the only ones kicking up a fuss for one reason or another. basically they were getting paid, but because i put an extra tenner in the account because i had it spare and thought i'd do somethin useful with it, they cancelled the agreement because "i paid MORE than the agreed amount" ridiculous yes?
anyway the phone numbers. they had my parents home number and my mobile number. i explained to them that i am away from home at uni and that they should ring my mobile, cos theres no point callin my home it just bugs my parents. they said yes fine no problem. i'd say within a week my parents for ten phone calls to their number, each time i called halifax back obviously getting more and more angry asking them to call my mobile. they never once called my mobile. in the end i wrote a very angry letter and i got a very apologetic one back promising me that my parents number was taken off the system. a day later they called my parents again. i called every department in halifax and when asking security details they were able to confirm my home number, despite it apparently being taken off the system.
i have now started a complaint with the OFT as and the data protection people as they have been dishonest about what information they hold on me i beleive this ia breach. two weeks ago i told them i would be doing this and i still havent heard anything back
