How can i access my old email account

I have a problem with an item of furniture bought online, I never thought to print the invoice or order details so now I'm stuck.
At the time I was using a @wanadoo.co.uk email but now when I try to login it just says invalid usermane or password.
Is there any chance possibility of accessing this account if I contact wanadoo or is it too long since I last used it. (roughly 3 years)

Its not impossible but very very unlikely you'll be able to retrieve you old emails unless the account still exists and you just need a password reset.

If it was bought from a reputable supplier they should be able to give you a copy of your original invoice/paperwork/something....

Probably too late; a lapsed email account; was this a web-based email account?

Not sure what that means sorry, It was just the email address I had when I had wanadoo broadband.

To be honest it's probably immaterial anyhow; and given that you now have a new ISP and a previous lapsed email account, I still think highly unlikely. Anyone else with suggestions?

Wanadoo does not exists as an ISP anymore it is now Orange so if you had an lapsed account it was most probably deleted. You could contact Orange but I wouldn't hold my breath in getting a reply.

If you bought on line then you must have paid for the item with either a debit or credit card and it might be easier to get a statement from whoever you used to fund the purchase.

I located the company online and called them, I gave my old post code and my account popped up, although the order details weren't available as they had changed there system or something.
At there request I have emailed a photo of the damaged item and they have promised to look into the matter.
Fingers crossed.
