Taken off Fixed Price 2011 by British Gas? Gas bill cut!!
I've just received my Gas Bill, and I'll be honest I was expecting a whopper of a bill for the last quarter - around the £350 mark. I was beginning to fear the letter or email telling me my bill was ready!
Feeling brave I checked the website this morning and my bill was ready but they've taken me off the Fixed Price 2011 tariff for my gas. My bill comes in at a not too hard to digest figure of £228 using the Standard Tariff rates!
I checked their website and it does say customers on the Fixed Price 2011 wouldn't receive the cuts, has anyone else received the cut?
I haven't been charged £70 for leaving the tariff. I haven't had any letters or emails from them other than the meter reading request.
This is the first bill I've had since I moved to this address.
I've lost the Dual Fuel discount but that's nothing compared to the saving I've made.
