I would agree with the previous post that the involvement of a solicitor in opposition to the Skipton's SVR hike is good news. There is no way that a solicitor would be putting time and effort into this case without having obtained high level legal opinion that legal action against the Skipton stands a reasonable chance of success, as the financial reward for the solicitor is likely to depend on this success.
There are arguments for and against the SVR hike, but what is indisputable is that there is a legal case worth pursuing for the benefit of Skipton borrowers hit by the SVR hike.0
