Yes, they are fine both on floor and wall.

    Hello,
This is utter nonsense! Do not worry, they are even easier to clean than the ordinary gloss tiles! I've got some in the kitchen and they look perfect I should say!
  • I have matt, porcelain tiles on my bathroom floor and walls. I clean them with my steam cleaner (prefer not to use a mop) and they come up like new again - simples! :)

I dont think I was very clear with my first post - I meant that the tile shops say no, they are not a nightmare to keep clean - not that I shouldn't have them! I am having so much trouble deciding! Thanks for your replies. X
  • In fact they are better than the high gloss ones which really show up every little mark.

why are you having trouble deciding?
  • I've got both and the matt ones are definitely easier to keep clean and don't show marks nearly as bad. I think they look more modern now too, wish I had got them instead of glossy ones in my kitchen.
  • When I had bathroom re done I had matt tiles so the limescale splashes wouldn't be so noticable. I would have them again, they still look like new but are a couple of years old.

Maybe it depends on the intensity of the colour you have? Mine are beige.
