15p miscall charge?

Why am I being charged 15p for every call that is NOT answered on my home telephone?
I was with Sky Talk until I moved home and am temporarily with BT on their Unlimited Evening and Weekend Plan at a reduced rate until Sky sort out the Talk mess as its still not cancelled properly at the old address.
Is this 15p charge normal as the miscalls are racking up the phone bill

This sounds like BTs normal call of minimum one minute call of, 9.3p connection fee and 5.25ppm call charge rounded up to the nearest penny = 15p.
Are you sure the call is not answered at all? even by an answerphone.
Is it one of these auto alarm calls that call daily?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
If by 'temporary' you mean 12 months - no problem. If under this, you've a big problem, as you;ve agreed to a renewable 12 month minimum term, and you are made to pay dearly for any early termination.
