I took my few odd bits, broken old chains etc, around 4 jewellers in Coventry, inc one of the TV ads places, cant remember the name of it but of the ads you see all the time with the antiques guy on it, but a small jewellers gave me a far better price than they did. I would have been happy with about £75 as thats what I was expecting and got £260!! I've raided every drawer now and ran out of old gold lol. Definately shop around and try some of the small places around your town is my advice!!0
