In my travels I happened upon a new build construction site..

The site has been operating for well over a year but they have only built a few terraced houses.
I think they have mothballed the rest of the site due to the recession.
There was no one in the sales cabin,,and no surpise becuase i cant see how they could sell these houses for a quarter of a million pounds but i digress.
Being nosey, i peered in the window. The internals of the houses in the pic were still under construction and I couldnt believe it....the internal party wall between two terraced houses was being constructed of timber frame...presumably with insulation material and plasterboard either side !
ROTFL...if i paid that much for a new home,i would want it to be more solid.
I fear for the sound insulation qualities.
As the Dragons would say...."I'm out..."

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Hah! Where have you been the past twenty years
You'll be lucky to get a timber frame these days, the new breed of flats use sheet steel U frame studding and you'll be even luckier to get some insulation between the plaster boards, really thats how they are built these days. :rotfl: 0 -
ROTFL....only fools would buy such shoddy construction. It would be ok for detached properties but certainly not for terraced /semis or flats...Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry).
