Kenwood CK404 Dual Fuel Rangestyle Cooker - Worth £520?

My OH wants to buy a Kenwood CK404 Dual Fuel Rangestyle Cooker. The reviews I have read have been that it is good value, but not the greatest cooker. That's OK by us :money: . Kitchen is pretty much designed around the oven, but could be tweaked if the alternative is a real winner

Any suggestions about where to get one cheap or a better value model - No more than £750 and every extra £ needs to buy something worthwhile.

Thanks for ideas or comments
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

I've got the CK440. I'm quite happy with it. Looks OK and we've got the back panel and the cooker hood, so the look is co-ordinated.

It functions well enough. I sometimes think the oven doesn't cook perfectly evenly and the fan oven takes a while to heat up, but its my first range cooker, so I haven't got much to compare it too.

    Yes, the extractor fan.

I don't think CK440 is still available, its about 4 years old. I guess CK404 is the replacement as they look similar, the only differences I can see are that I have a grill at the top of the smaller oven, a programmable timer and 6 rings on the hob.
