HBOS- they have upheld complaint how long to receive money?

Hi all
first of all thanks for all the help I have had on this forum. Hbos have upheld my complaint about missold ppi on 3 loans I had with them. I got my letter dated the 08th feb telling me I would be refunded and they anticipate it be within the month.
Now the question is is that witin the month of feb or within 1 month from the 08th feb? Has anyone else been successful with them and if so how long did you have to wait for your payout?

Any advice at all is appreciated thanks

Congrats on your win. :T I would give them 28 days from the receiving of your letter. If it hasn't arrived by then, give them a quick call asking where it is.

Well done. Normally means a month from the date on the letter. My letter said that I would shortly receive the calcs and then payment within a month but apparently they had a backlog in Jan this year.

I received my calculations exactly a month after I received my letter stating that they would uphold my claim and refund me. I then had to wait a further 28 days for my cheque as my loan was settled and I didn't bank with HBOS. Soall in all, it took 2 months from the date of the first letter to receiving my cheque.

I was about 10 days before my cc was refunded directly into my bank account - about 14 days before the premium was returned by cheque on a loan I had & about another week after that the interest on the loan premium was sent

Hi thanks for all the replys so far.
Well I don't know if it's just because i am eager to find out what i am getting or not but i called HBOS again yesterday to see if there was any progress only to be told that at the time they sent me my letters they were taking approx a month to pay out but it is now delayed longer by about 2-3 weeks.
Is there any given timescale by FOS in which they need to have it actioned by?

I got my letter in december saying i would be paid within the month and recieved a cheque last week, when i called them i was told their was a delay because of a backlog but got an apology from them for the delay in payment.
Thinking about it i supose it can be expected now as more and more people claim

Hi,
I sent my first letter in Nov 2009 and received a decision on 23rd Feb uphoding my complaint. My claim is now with the redress team to calculate the ammounts due and although the letter states that this will take a month there seems to be a backlog. The last time I called I was told it could take up to six weeks for them to do the calculations.
