Now I've heard some excuses but this one lol!!!

Hi all
Just thought I would share this as although it wasnt good news it made me chuckle as one of the best excuses I had heard to date.
Welcome Finance accepted my claim and having signed the acceptance forms Welcome finance told me on the 16th of this month they had posted out my cheque.......As nothing had arrived I thought I would give them a call today to chase it up. I got put through to compliance and the guy actually said to me the reason I had not received it yet was because " The Cheque Book was empty!! "
Like I said not good news at all but their book of excuses is obviously alot fuller than their cheque book.
