one problem after another!!
So i start the car this morning it bearly starts, it was frosty but i forgot to press the button to unlock the car twice to get my de-icer out the boot, so i turn engine off to open the boot as it wont work when turned on. So i tried to turn on battery is dead, So im wondering is my battery dieing and should i get a new one this is like the 5th time its happend.
Also had to get my driver side wheel replaced garage said the inside was wearing away or so as i had a very very slow puncture for a good few months. was £13 for a repair or £44 for a new tyre so i picked new tyre option. For somereason now i i cant straighten my wheel up having the vaxuhall logo on the wheel straight its to the side (do i need wheels balanced)
Lastly driver side door seems to let alot of noise and wind in when driving on the bypass i also noticed the handle seems to be abit slack like its gonna break *hope it donnt*.
Any advice on the 3 big points above anyone.

The wonky wheel is not due to wheel balancing, tracking maybe, which would relate to the odd wearing of the old tyre.
Is the replacement tyre exactly the same both side?0 -
There all big point as it cost money in some way.
And if you haven't anything to help me dont bother posting rubbish and negative posts regarding what i said.
All i want is some advice as it is in the motoring section.0 -
No the replacement tyre is different just one got replaced. is that a problem ;o0

just charge the battery up and it should be fine,as it was bitterly cold today you've used up the batteries energy to start the car, then switched it off before its had enough time to be replaced by the alternator, your battery should be ok.
also sounds like your tracking is out,not the balancing (unless theres a wobble over certain speeds)
did they replace only one front tyre? its best to have similarly worn tyres on the front of a vehicle, this may be causing it to seem as if the tracking is out.
the handle has nothing to do with how well the door is caught on the latch,it could be a knackered door seal casuing the wind noise, or even a worn out/ in need of adjustment door striker....work permit granted!0 -
thank you, Kurtis_Blue and goldspanners0

May seem unlikely that your car will have incorrect size tyres, although noticed on someone's car who'd been to Kwikfit had 2 wrong size tyres out of 4 they fitted, on different axles. Luckily Kwikfit replaced them free of charge - but yet another reason I won't ever go there.0

put a matching new tyre on the opposite side to the one that was replaced - this will straighten the steering wheel up.
Failing that, get the tracking checked.
Charge the battery.0 -
I've never had much success charging batteries. Once they've gone once it usually means that they're knackered. They're not expensive from motor factors though.Happy chappy0
