Orchid X4 Clicking Noise

I have an orchid v4+ dialler. I have just changed my phone from a BT
Diverse X5 to a BT Diverse 6210. Now When I connect the 6210 dialer
and try to make a call (i.e “lift” the handset) I get a constant
clicking noise. The noise is coming from the orchid box itself. It is a rapid click, click, click .... and it can also be heard in the handset attached to
the base unit. When the 6210 is pugged directly into the line it works
perfectly. I have ADSL and the phone and router is connected to
the dialer as recommended. There is no clicking when i use my old X5. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Does any one have any suggestions?
