Where to go from here?

My OH had a third party dealing with his claim for bank charges (he did this before I discovered MSE) he tried to contact the company dealing with his case today and can only get a recorded message to say they are no longer pursuing claims in light of the recent rulings and if he wants statements returned then he needs to request this in writing. We have no way of getting a case number or anything else for that matter. What I would really like to happen is for me to pick up where the third party have left off and still pursue the case, how could I do this or would I have to start from scratch and if so would it be worth it or indeed even possible. We would be pursuing the case on the basis of hardship, any advice would be welcome. :)

Write to the company and ask for the statements back. If you are pursuing the case based on financial hardship then read from page 20 the link on my signature and apply the logic to your case specifically.

You have to right to the bank again to start the process though using the guide on MSE.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
