Help please

I have this morning needed to restore my laptop to the factory settings, but although it is now back to normal, when I try to type @ I get " instead and think this applies to some of the other characters. Has anyone any idea why this is. Many thanks in advance

Yes, you are right, but although I have fiddled around with it so it shows English United Kingdom the signs are still coming out the same. Should I try rebooting?

  • Hi Judy,

Where the keyboard language is set, it may still show 'US' settings, try removing the 'US' keyboard leaving yourself with just the UK version.
