Best deal for daytime calls/calls to mobiles?

I've recently had to start making a lot more daytime calls, as my Dad has been ill and has had to go into a care home, so I've had a lot of sorting out to do and am ringing my Mum more often during the day. I'm also phoning my Dad at least once a day on his mobile. Currently we're on the free weekend calls plan with BT, we're not in a contract at the moment so could change to somebody else. Could anyone recommend a good deal for cheaper daytime calls to landlines and mobiles? Thanks.

Change to Anytime calls for £4.99pm, that will give you unltd landline calls (but not to mobiles).

Another option is to use a mobile to call a mobile. Asda Mobile for example only charge 8p to call another mobile on any network. No contract just pay as you go.
