Microsoft .NET Framework update problem!

Hello,

I've been having problems with Microsoft .NET Framework installing itself. Every 7-8 days I get a error report which sends off numerous reports, but it doesn't help me!

I've looked up what it could be and found that I would need to remove all .net frameworks and install the latest one, but for some reason 1.1.net framework can't be found and won't uninstall.

I'm concerned that I'm leaving my PC vulnerable - please help!

Thanks

Tess

check your add/remove for 1.1, if its not there, install revo uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html link to freeware version

Its possible you haven't got 1.1 installed at all, in which case download and install it.

Currently install on my xp pro sp3, I have

    Net framework 1.1 + hotfix
Net framework 2 with service pack 2 space used 194MB
Net framework 3 with service pack 2 and space used 269MB
    Net framework 3.5 Sp1 space used 28MB
