Naturally Speaking 9 can be bought on Ebay for around about £29.00.

It's not clear whether this software is legal but it works and registers with Nuance.

I discussed the legality of the software with Nuance. They were quite disinterested about whether the software was correctly licensed or not. They were not interested enough to check whether the software was legal.
