Thanks for your suggestions ladies, when I talked it over with some of my friends they all said I was barking mad not to wear make up at any time, not just on my wedding day! I find it kinda sad that some girls can think like that! but we're all different and if they feel comfortable with a face on then so be it.
On the looking washed on in photographs thing, I've been looking at past photographs of me with make up, and without, and I honestly can't tell the difference.. apart my eyes looking a bit darker with eyeliner I dont't think I need it at all. I will probably compromise and wear a bit of mascara and some lip gloss though, will have to find some mascara that doesn't make my eyes bloodshot though, i'm getting married in August so have time to get testing.trying to become a moneysaving student0 -
I too do not know what to do with regards to my wedding and make-up. I have only worn it once before in my life and then it was applied by friends as i was a little 'project' and my OH said i looked odd because he isn't use to it and is use to seeing me as i am. Everyone keeps asking me what i am doing make-up wise on the day and to most i just say i don't know. To a couple i have said i'm not, because i don't normally and the reaction i got was utter horror
I do want to look nice and do see that i should make an effort for the day and i'm getting my hair done and just wearing a dress is a biggy for me but i don't want to look like a different person, especially when OH isn't use to it.
any suggestions :wall:0 -

If your not used to wearing make up and then wear it on your wedding day, it will just bug you.
I dont wear a lot of make up, just a dab of mascara and thats me, maybe a bit of lip gloss if im going somewhere posh.
I am dreading the idea of having a full face of slap, so i think im just gonna stick to what me and may face know best.
If its not for you dont feel forced to do it, im sure your DF would like you to walk down the aisle as you and not someone else.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Try one of Clinique mascaras - they are good for sensitive eyes and you wash them off with just warm water, so no additional products that could harm your eyes are necessary. From Poland...with love.

Hi well as you have olive skin you probably dont need it - lucky you !! Bare minerals might not irritate your skin. I ususally stick to Maybelliene mascara but not that yellow collosal volume one. Tinting your eyelashes maybe an option. Good on your - spend the money on something you do want !!!:beer:We got married 17th April 2010 !! A wonderful day with my wonderful husband !! :T0

I can't imagine not wearing make-up in my wedding photos but that's just me - I'm blonde, so my eyes need to be underlined otherwise in photos they just disappear!
You don't need to go all out and trowel on the warpaint for your wedding
you could always just get some mascara to accentuate your eyes (others have already recommended good brands for sensitive skin so I won't bother), you don't have to look completely different but if done right, make-up can accentuate all your best features and hide any that you feel aren't the best ones! 0
