My car insurance renewal has just come through.I have always paid the extra to have the "ininsured loss, legal protection insurance" as well. This year it has risen 20% to £24..
With the proliferation of "no win no fee" claim specialists,is it worth me paying this extra amount anymore? what do oyhers think or do?

It is a judgement call. You mention no win no fee and from that I am thinking your mind may be set on any case you may have to take for a claim against another. Thing is, a case could be against you; how would you fare on your own without cover?titewad wrote:My car insurance renewal has just come through.I have always paid the extra to have the "ininsured loss, legal protection insurance" as well. This year it has risen 20% to £24..

Legal expenses isnt about defence - your own insurance covers this.
Legal expenses is only about pursuant/ claimant work against another party - the threads already posted go into the strengths and alternatives to the product and the limitations of no win no feeAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
