Bid tv - slightly suspect?

I think all the shopping channels are expensive really. If I like something I go straight online to see if I can get it cheaper. I saw some really expensive Rockport shoes on QVC the other day and went straight onto Ebay and got a pair for £4.99. I do like watching Ideal World when Andy Love's on though, he makes me laugh the way he states the blindlingly obvious. He was demonstrating a tent once and as he zipped and unzipped the door flap he felt it necessary to tell viewers that the door is open, the door is closed, etc.0

Where can you buy a watch for EG £2.00 if they dont bump the p&p up to cover and if you ask for a refund thats all they give you is £2 so they are quids in at the end of the day. :rotfl:ive brought stuff from them and its brilliant
and some times worth more than what you would pay for in a shopThe solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0 -
Web biddings simple, it's exactly the same as ebay, don't see whats hard about that?
It's simple with this program, add on the cost of postage and see if you can get it cheaper elsewhere, if so buy it from the other place if not buy it from them. The web biddings simple. Look on their site, Google the lowest price and bid that or below work out any difference in postage from anywhere on Google and their postage and adjust your bid to match. If it's goes higher web biddings cost you nothing if it went lower you've got it!
You just have to be prepared, you can't always flick on and see something that you want and think is going to go really cheap, get the laptop out, on and bid in time!
I think they do some good things but sadly these are in the minority. When they sell a sheet of stickers for the bathroom the postage is still the same! Hence the cheapest anyone in Northern Ireland can buy anything is £12 even if you use web bidding.
Just witnessed almost 200 buy artists acrylic paint in 6 colours because it's a mega-drop, completely useless around the home etc due to type of paint, colour and small volumes... I wonder how many realise they have just paid a tener for something they won't have a use for (in the majority!)
Item before it was Only Fools and Horses "complete set" - incorrect! It's the complete series set but has none of the specials or one-offs which this one does (I bought it two days ago
)!

Might think it's a good price as this 1 was only £39.99, half the price of that above (can buy through playtrade for £60 tho
) but... seen it in Tesco last week for £29.99, £20 cheaper than bid tv when you account for P&P etc
Just saying... bid tv should review their P&P to be fairer or customers and get more customers long-term...."Well, we are a Christian country, it is an important part of our make-up and I don't see any reason to change." David Cameron0
