Curly that memory of the woman is london is Disgusting!!! EEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!
What a classy lady0 -
eeeek Curly you could have been damaged for life.!!!!!
maybe i should have done the "wanna peepee dance" and they might have let me piddle for free, but actually I was too busy getting off the ground after passing out at the price!!More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
I've just realised it's the 26th today and that i haven't posted for weeks:eek: (I think i might've been abducted by those pesky aliens of Pure Dead Dopey's)
Then i come back to post and it's all piddling and logs:rotfl:. Then i find Big Mumma'a got posting probs and Solvent's the new keeper. Where have i been????? This thread's more exciting than the soaps at the mo. (Although that's not too difficult).
Anyway just thought i'd better say i'm now on 16 NSD so only another 4 needed, and as i'm over on the Grocery challenge and forbidding myself to shop, then it looks like i should make it by thursday.
Anyway off to watch Masterchef, but i'll tune in again tomorrow for another thrilling instalment."A bargain is something you can't use at a price you can't resist." Franklin Jones0 -

Don't think i can head that far ooop north without getting a nose-bleed, curlygirl. There's a great party atmosphere in here! Isn't it nice to get away from the tyranny that was BigMumma.... oops, did i say that out loud
. Only joking BigM
.
Pure Dead Dopey the NSD gods will allow you to claim an NSD. Even they can't begrudge you a piddle or 2. Well done on the gift purchases Solvent, your friends and family will love them .
Another NSD for me finally . Roll on April, so i can start afresh.

It was very busy but a lady in a smart skirted suit stopped, put her briefcase down, got out a newspaper and spread it on the ground. Hitched her skirt up, knickers down, squated and ahem 'laid a log'. And then wrapped it up in the newspaper. And that was my enduring memory of London and it wasn't until I was 32 that I felt able to go back. I still feel queasy about it now......
Y O Y O Y did I read this. I feel quite ill now. I live a very sheltered life....I just hope the picture I've got in my head now disappears before I go to bed .
No it hasn't. Off to bed with very nasty picture in head.:(:rotfl:Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Morning all! Thanks Solventsoon for that great post, everyone is doing SOOOO well! We are a great bunch for cheering each other on!
Katenut - have a wonderful weekend, personally, I wouldnt count those days as spenders as you've saved and covered all the expenses. Just enjoy and have a ball -( maybe we should have a "virtual" hen night on here for you!) I'm having a pink glittery stetson thanks! :rotfl:
I'm hoping for another NSD today as it's pouring rain and I can't really be bothered going out. Im off today so I think I'll do some housework then settle down with my book. Had a low spend yesterday, BUT I stuck ridgidly to my list (a first) and started my savings stamps at the PO for car tax. That is the one expense Im guilty of burying my head in the sand about. My resolution is to put a bit away each month so Im not shelling out £330 come December to tax two cars. My granny would be proud of me, as she used to save like this every week from her pension to cover her bills.
Have a lovely day everyone, hope its dry where you are! :j
Well done for sticking to your list (I did that for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I know it feels great). And great news on starting saving for your car tax - we just seem to have lost the art of saving for things nowadays - everything is so instant!!
Sorry everyone if I sound like your granny - I'm really not that old, just sometimes I wish we could turn the clock back a few years and regain some control of our lives..
Right... enough of that - sorry:o. Back to the topic in hand....The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi everyone
Well aren’t we all doing brilliantly:j Let’s have a collective group hug and pat on the back
There have been some interesting posts on here today:eek:. I think we’ve all had the Friday feeling (or maybe we’re all demob happy as it’s nearly the end of March)
Curlygirl - that was a great night out in Newcastle, haven’t had so much fun for years. Thanks for organising it - and loved your outfit;). I’m going to have such a hangover in the morning:rotfl:
:j:j:jWell done to The Dragon and saorsie - targets exceeded now for both of you:j:j:j (saorsie - especially well done to you for avoiding temptation for a second day after payday:j)
Well done to the following for NSDs being recorded today:
Verynewmoneysaver: :jWell done, up to 6 now and, yes, this is a great thread - all thanks to BigMumma.
bex37: :jYou’ve managed 8, that’s a great achievement. Really pleased you didn’t use the “f” word or BigMumma would have got cross with you. Hang on in there and try and get as many as you can before the end of the month and then start again in April.
Coffee-break: Don’t you be making comments like that about BigMumma or you’ll be in trouble;). :jWell done on another NSD.:j
Pleased with my first lot of pressies, thanks, just got sooooo many more to get still.....
Hugs for the following:
Emilyka: Same comment as for bex - you’ve got some NSDs so that’s an achievement. Well done for thinking about organising yourself for April, try different methods until you find one that works for you and don’t beat yourself up too much until you find something you’re comfortable with and works for you. Keep thinking that any NSDs are a bonus and that will help you to stay focused, I think.
Poorbabe: Great thoughts for emilyka but, again, don’t beat yourself up because you didn’t achieve what you wanted first time - there are loads of us on here who have tried many times, believe me. Join up for April, you’ll get so much encouragement and kicks up the **** here and lots of friendly comments:).
Pure dead dopey: I really hope you’re not letting the 30p rip-offs affect your NSDs - that is downright bloomin’ robbery:(
Peskie pixie: Welcome back, good to see you again.:) Yeah, the posts today have been interesting (to put it mildly!!!!). Morale of this is - don’t turn your back on the NSD thread, you never know what you’ll miss.
:jWell done on getting to 16 NSDs and good luck for the remaining 4.
Curlygirl - I have just read your post about your trip to London:eek::eek: need I say more
LadyfromVenice - I'm going to bed with the same picture as you and it ain't pleasant:eek:
Oh and before I forget - I got an NSD today as well;)
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
ss
xx
PS: Will be posting the April thread on Sunday - it might look a bit different to BigMumma’s first page (I don’t have her level of technical competence) but the spirit will be there..The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
