hi ,i was just wondering ive just read about someone handing there keys back to the mortage people and they were told not too ,we are handing our keys back ,we go bankrupt thursday and move out of our home friday we have no money due to us from the mortage and secured loan ,so we was goin to fill the forms in on the following monday can anyone tell me is this the right way todo it !!!! i need advice thanku

Rang up the court today - they offered me a date of 25th for both my Hubby and I to go BR, thats my birthday so lady very kindly went off to her manager and got us an appointment for Monday at 10am. Bit quicker than I was expecting :eek: but why wait around ???? I can't see any reason.

We want to give up our house, but will need time to get the monies together. No mortgage arrears as yet, but will need that money towards rental fees and deposit etc. Hope OR understands.

Anyway I finished work, with no plans for this weekend really, now I am gonna have to call in Monday morning and take an emergency day off and spend all weekend making sure I have to forms all completed and in tip top order.!

Income Payment Agreement, if you have a surplus after you have paid your essentials etc on your SOA, then the OR will take a percentage of the surplus.

Hi all, My OH and i were declared bankrupt on tues morning 9th march, we were both in a panic before the hearing and worried how it would go.:eek:
After following lots of the threads on here and taking advice from the nice people at CCCS we bit the bullet and took the plunge. Thankfully all went well and all the officials so far have been really nice. We have a telephone interview on weds with the OR so hopefully everything will be ok. Thanks to all for the advice and keep up the good work.:beer:
