Man-size tissues – any recommendations please?

Has anyone else noticed that Kleenex tissues seem much poorer quality these days? They seem to disintegrate in my pocket really quickly now. Even my teenage son commented on how poor they were and he doesn’t usually notice or say much! My mother suffers with bronchiectasis, a chronic lung disease and has to keep clearing her lungs into tissues so gets through loads of boxes. I used to buy Kleenex for her when on offer as they were better than supermarket own brand but now just fall apart. Sainsburys and Aldi tissues are no better. 3-ply are better but not many in a box so work out rather expensive. Can anyone recommend any decent supermarket man-size tissues please?

Do you have a Home & Bargain near you? They do decent tissues in both normal and mansize boxes, both at 2 for £1. They're not the absolute best tissues tbh but for the price I find them as good as the supermarket ones.

They're not mansize tissues, but I can't go past Tempo tissues - normally get them for 99p a box or sometimes 2 for £1.50. They're good thick tissues and even better don't go into 100 bits if they end up in the washing machine!

I hate all the thin tissues so I always buy the "pocket pack" tissues as I find them much thicker. Got my last lot in tesco 18 packs for under £1.20.

I also find them a lot more handy than boxes of tissues.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm happy to try the Tempo and pocket pack ones myself but hubby and son (snakeeyes - whatever can you be thinking of?? No, don't elaborate!!) will find them too small and won't want to be carrying packets around.
So would still be grateful to hear if anyone has come across any decent man-size tissues or can advise which brands to avoid.

Tempo do man size ones as well, sold in Lidls. I find them fine but then I'm not a great judge as I just use and bin.

I'm sure the ones I buy in Home & Bargain are called Tempo, and they deffo come in mansize as well as normal. 55p a box or 2 for £1. :)

Edit: Nope I was wrong, they're called Countess not Tempo. But still decent tissues esp. for the price!

Thanks but sadly no Home & Bargain shop here in Peterborough and my local Lidl only sells small size Tempo tissues at £1.50 per box.

Tesco sell a value brand for 91p a box which are in a multicoloured box and with a balm, they are good. But the ones in the square/cube box for 59p? rubbish!
