Is a Credit Card in Credit Good?

in Credit cards
This is probably a really stupid question but I will ask it just in case.
I have a good few credit cards but I want my credit file to be as good as possible for when I really need credit.
So I am going to cancel all the cards I no longer use and reduce the credit limits on the ones I rarely use.
But I have one that is £0.01p in credit. The credit limit on it is also tiny at just £400
Is this being in credit a good thing on my file or should I just close the account as it makes no difference? If for some reason it was actually good for my file I would just leave it there as it is only a penny and the credit limit is very small. Anyone know?

credit card companies look at your ability to manage your debt so regular payments.
I doubt having a standing card with a penny on it is going to make any real difference.
Also all settled cards would still be listed on your credit file.0
