Green is milder, more fragrant, but just as nice...its hard to find though :(

If you leave it long enough it turns green. Just like I was when my wife met me.

edit: I'm joking of course. It doesn't turn green.

I love the metrosexuals on here and they are all in the spirit of Our Great Leader :money:. Alpha males?...how do I type the sound>? peeweugh?

Alpha males have a time and a place......front lines in war and ...I can't type it.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As to Boutique da de da...I am not stresssssing about it today....but have hatched a plan tomo...so will e-mail her some more info. Thing is it has to be....umm...simply out..not all full of waffle and figures in a complicated way. Thank you LJ.....and I have to do your PM too..........

I have an OH coming back late tonight and, apparenrtly, he's missing me badly...the novelty has worn off now, living in the family home alone , being able to eat unlimited junk food and not get nagged about watching hours of cr**p telly...so much that his brain is tired the next day.

He has had to clean it too...as I am up there at the weekend.

I will have to be wifely later on too....

I'm not sure what that noise is supposed to be...

FC123 don't worry too much about the PM - spend some quality time with OH (I'm sure you've been missing him too!) You know my thoughts on the quality of your tv choices!;)

Despite the fact we all blather on about money/economy, these are the things that are really important.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I will 'phone her tomo I think.
I know what the problem is but she can't solve it as the business has run out of money......they didn't have enough when they started and the shop is very understocked....therefore, it won't take enough T/O to survive and pay it's running costs.
I just don't know how to put it though...and can't be seen to say 'do this or that' as it may not work anyway.

I'd say so. Interesting topic. Interesting responses.

I think some would ask (I think lir did a page or so back) what you think of the thread.

I'd be interested to know whether it has answered your question, or raised more questions.

I'd describe it as a very human thread.

To get back on topic, the original proposition was: could you become good friends (or even lovers) because you fell for each other on the net?

I don't really agree with this Pixel business because it suggests you meet an image on the web; this is not good news; especially for blokes. Visual stimulus tends to crowd out our other senses. Try being asked to do sums and drive a car at the same time.
Try smelling the toast burning in the middle of watching a gun fight on the box.
Us blokes are particularly attracted to female erogenous zones, and some such images tend to befuddle clear thinking.

On the web you meet someone's brain before the rest of their body.
(Don't tell anyone but that is the largest female erogenous zones of all, it is also the most difficult part to understand and manage ;)) That is where the "I just don't fancy you" response comes from, so be warned.

So get things in order, don't be attracted by the trivial and easily faked stuff that fades with age. Be attracted by the inner person first.

We have two such unions in my family so here is crossing our fingers that the web magic works long term.

[ Now it is confession time, I've always had a thing about English women with penetrating brains - don't know why, they may well turn into the archetypal "battle axe".
Today I have been listening to Lucy Kellaway handing out her annual "Guffs" for the best management type twaddle:

Neil McMahon, an oil analyst, told the Wall Street Journal that Exxon “might be able to change the industry structure forever and gap away from competitors”. McMahon has thus gapped away from competitors and scoops up the prize for a noun used as a verb.

“I wanted to circle up with you to make sure you had received my note below.” Curl up, I understand. Circle up, I don’t.
    .

Air New Zealand, which announced it would “disestablish up to 100 long-haul cabin crew positions”.

You get the idea - my favourite is:

The award for the year’s top clich! – which goes to “the elephant in the room”. In the last year there has scarcely been a meeting room anywhere in which an elephant has not pitched up at some point. In leading newspapers and journals alone, last year 3,700 elephants were reported as being in rooms, while in 2000 the number was only 175. If one had to sum up 2009 in one sentence, it was the year in which elephants bred like rabbits.

    The full list is here:
    http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/25ead124-f70e-11de-9fb5-00144feab49a.html

You can listen to the voice here (It is the last 5 minutes after some American has scared you rigid about the future value of your money and the cost of your mortgage).

Other information about Lucy can be gleaned here and I am a little reassured that her boat race suggests that she is not battle axe material (yet):D

That's really interesting. I had never even thought of things like this.:o

I like the web as I don't get judged on what I look like and what I do to earn a living. The stereotype walks into the room before me sometimes.
