Roadside Cover - which is the best deal?

Hi there,

I have had a look at Martin's advice on the cheapest roadside cover. He mentions a couple that I have never heard of, and this makes me think that as they are less known, they might take longer to come to help if something goes wrong. Does anyone know of any good deals from the larger companies that are good?

I was with RAC last year, but this year they have given me a renewal quote of £43, which I'm sure is more than I paid last year. I thought I saw an AA advert a few weeks ago that offered some free M&S vouchers if you signed up - does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

AA Advert on TV is advertising from £39 plus a discount for booking on line and free M&S voucher. Have you checked their website for any offers. Sometimes its cheaper to cancel then rejoin as you dont always get as good a deal being an existing customer - new customers often get the best offers. This has happened with my insurance.

Thanks. Yes, I have tried their website, but could not find anything. I have sent them an email so will see what they say! Thanks again!

I have just bought a 2007 AA Road Atlas and on the back is an advert for joining the AA. It says join from only £39 and get a free £10 M&S voucher. Call 0800 294 0655 and quote reference 1200.

Thanks very much! The price online is from £31 (25% off) so it might be better to just get that rather than pay more and get a free voucher. Thanks for clarifying!

Don't forget to go through Quidco for £20 cashback.
