Evening All,
Myself and my girlfriend have started the hunt for our first home together. We've looked at the 50% shared ownership scheme. The apartment we have seen is priced at £155,000. It is ideal for us. We would have a mortgage of £77,500. My girlfriend has a loan for her car and I have a £3000 loan and we both have £3000 on credit cards. Would we be eligible? We have a 5K deposit as-well. Is there anyway that we could put the credit cards on to out mortgage?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated
Many Thanks

You'll normally need at least a 10% deposit and with your current credit commitments you might find it difficult. You really need to see an indepent mortgage advisor who can go through your options.0
