Is Gmail/Google down?

The guys that are having problems, are you on Tiscali, by any chance, ont the phone to Customer Service at the moment and they don't seem to know what's wrong.

"No, it's my own machine, I don't have any popup blockers, yes, I do mean to tell you it's happening on every computer on this line."

Anyone know of a 'back-end' to Gmail so messages can be retrieved? Or is it just a case of waiting?

This happened to me when I was with Bulldog. It turned out to be a DNS issue.

Well, for those that are wondering, you could visit: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813444 and perform the steps outlined in the re-register DLL's section.

Personally, as I was able to log into other secure sites, i don't believe this is the issue, and as others are also having this problem I'm just going to wait until Google fixes itself, no matter how deprived I'll be without it.

And, by the way, VBB really does have an objection to the !!!!!!! web address standard, just replaces it with ! marks.

mine struggles on google searches from my toolbar tonight, i'm not trying to do anything yet though, I'll see what its like in the morning and go from there...everything else is ok, so I think its google, not my PC.
