just put it through the MOT, only problem was a track rod end that was a bit iffy, it wasn't actually the ball joint that was worn, I checked it at the service, but where the adjuster meets the balljoint is bonded and it was starting to crack, So I got the MOT garage to chane them both and do the tracking. £140 including the MOT. No advisories and the tester was happy with the condition of the car and reckons there is plenty life left in it, I asked if it was worth keeping a while and he said yes so that's cheered me up and given me motivation to keep my eyes out for a tidier set of alloys for it, and to get a wriggle on and fit the integrated bluetooth system in to it i've had lying around for ages.

Well im now on the lookout for a new banger! Head gaskets gone on my 206! About £1,000 to play with i guess. Years no claims should be through end of the month so may manage something bigger

A wee update since it's finished. Had great fun getting it up to scratch.
We might be selling it soon for around £850 once we have bought a new motor. Been a great car for the time we've had it and costs buttons to run but we've saved up now and we're looking for a 07-on bmw 520d m sport
