heating thermostat

I need to replace my heating thermostat. Is it a case of just popping down to B&Q and buying a similar model and swapping it over. It is for a combi boiler.

Make sure you put the wires in the right place.

Same beastie from Bargain & Quick and Screwfix - one cheaper than the other - both the same parent company.

What is your boiler? - you haven't said and can it take a 2 or 3 wire stat?

How is the current stat wired?

Its a vokera excell 80 sp and the wall mounted thermostat has 3 wires connected.
