Thanks to everyone. So Candy and Bosch seem to be coming up tops. Will also check out the AEG washers as well, and also a bigger drum.:T

Another vote for Bosch here! Used pretty much daily on 40c and no problems!

  • WE've an lg one that we bought 5 years ago, it's spent it's life in the garage, been used most days and worked perfectly, it's also got flashing lights and beeps which makes it man friendly. :)

  • without a shadow of a doubt LG all the way for us ( family of 5,one chef,3 dirt magnet girls, lol) we got the one with the direct drive drum(v.quiet) larger load and i used cloth nappies myself-it has a 30 degree quick wash (30mins) that removed any stains every single time!!its still going strong used everyday sometimes twice and hasnt let me down in 4yrs!
We were so impressed with the washing machine ( came with a 5yr guarentee from hanna and brownes, newtownards) that we replaced all the big electric items with LG when we extended and again were pleased to get the extra guarentees!.....even my phone is LG :rotfl:
try Hanna and brownes for prices aswell because they will price match any store or internet and if you talk nicely even beat the price :D ( personally the Bangor store is best these days there is a lady that works in that dept who will go out of her way to help, the man wont so much ;))
    HTH laura
    it takes more energy
    to hate than to love...
    love and relax!
