Please help as I am lost! DD1 is going to Uni this year - she has applied through UCAS and has had four offers, so that is out of the way! How does she go about applying for a loan for the course and for living costs? Does this get done through UCAS?

She needs to go HERE
and register, she'll then get login details and be able to fill in her application online. You'll need to register as well so that you can provide your financial information, (presuming she lives with you and she is applying for income assessed finance).
The sooner this gets done the better0 -

Thank you SO much! I am going to get her to do it today! Can I ask another question, if she choses a uni close to home (i.e. only 20mins away), can she still apply for a maintenance loan?0 -

She can apply for loan wherever she goes.
If she lives at home she gets less. (she can live 3 miles away from home and get the same as 130 miles away if she lives in halls or private housing)0 -

She already has one so that will be a great help as she will be able to keep it if she goes to the uni close to home0
