hi
sorry if i'm doing this wrong a long time reader but only just joined!!!
We had a Ferolli HC31 boiler fitted 2 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it since. This weekend its started scrolling through a number of fault codes all of which have ended up with us having no heat and having to keep "resetting" the boiler which is still working thankfully. The main problem we have at the moment is it runs for an hour or so then we ger A 26 which is not in the book for the boiler so don't know what this means. Reset does not work in this case but it does restart after a while. This keeps happening so everytime we get warm off it goes again. Any ideas what this A26 is anyone? also how do I stand with getting Ferolli to take the blessed boiler out and replace it ???
thanks

What warranty do you have on it? Has it been serviced annually in order to keep any warranty valid?
Some of the current Ferolli range seem to offer a 5 year warranty, don't know if this applies to yours? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
There is no reason to get them to replace something which is only indicating a fault condition which you are just overriding/bypassing every time it happens. You don't know that you haven't been doing damage to it by this method. Would you do this with your car?
You need a service call from a Ferolli trained technician. For starters call their Technical Helpline tomorrow - 0871 559 2927.
Cheers

hi
we have been overriding this fault all weekend as Ferolli have no weekend support. I have 2 kids in the house so other I had no other option unless you know something I don't.......
We have had Ferolli repair men out 6 times in 2 years this next visit which i will book as soon as the helpline opens in the morning (thank god its not a bank holiday) will be the 7th.
We do have a 5 year warrenty and had the boiler serviced every 12 month as required so we are covered but the inconveience is beyond stupid now. and no i wouldn't do this with my car but to be fair you can go to a garage 7 days a week and I dont need my car to keep warm in minus temps with snow so......

sorry i'm tired and cold - again!
flippin thing is driving me nutty, its gone again and I've tried the usual things but this time it doesn't seem to want to budge.
I am off to bed with 27 layers on hubby will love that lol.
I shall be on to Ferolli first thing in the morning, if I haven't frozen to death in the night, and see what they say this time. A26 seems to be a whole new fault code we have never encountered before and so are unsure of how to tackle it and I think it may just of won this little battle lol
Thanks for your help, support sorry for getting irrate its been a long cold weekend......Money Saving Newbie but learning

Hi, wonder if you can help me help my friend with these questions:-
1/ how do you reset the on and off times for the heating and bolier
2/ Is there an override switch, where you can just work in and switch the heating on?
Many thanks if you can, Julie:j0 -
