Ok I know love film has a different opinions on this website but wanted to share my opinion on them.

Gets a email on Wed from a discount voucher website offering 30 days trial and a free £10 argos voucher. So clicks on the link to take me to the website fills in all my details and only after I finished I realized I was a total plonker and had not entered any promo code so was getting charged full whack and no 30 day free trial.

Two mins on the phone and had the 30 days honored after I came off the phone I remembered about the £10 voucher, so quick email to them and 1 day later had a lovely reply advising me that they would also give this to me.

On friday had 2 DVD's through the post (3rd on Saturday, I had signed up to their 3 a time trial) and they were also my top picks.

I had previously tried Lidl movies and was not impressed as they made me chose up to 16 films and then sent only my low priority ones out and only got 2 for the whole month.

So good job love film I know I will be signing up at the end of the free trial :beer:

I've never had any problems with Lovefilm either, always had a quick turnaround and they dont just send out the low priority ones first. I use them for games as well (Xbox360 and Wii) and they are the same.

The other thing as well is the condition of the discs, I gave up using my local Blockbusters because of the state of the discs they were trying to loan out, badly scratched and one actually had what looked like icing from a cream bun smeared all over it (gross)

lol, I dont have a local block busters and was unsure about using online film companies after the experience with Lidl but really happy with outcome so far.

if you do decide to stick with the dvd rental thing after your trial, cancel love film, sign up with tesco..... its run by lovefilm but slightly cheaper and you get tesco clubcard points as well. No difference in service level its just a rebadged service
