Windows 7 Activation Key

My computer is telling me that I have to activate my windows 7 and is asking for the product key ( installed it few days ago). Anyway, I bought the upgrade disk which only came in a white cardboad thing with a sticker on and I don't know where to find it....

I've used a product key finder (magic jellybean??) and it came up with one but it didn't work - said that its a defualt key or something like that.

It will be with the product packaging. Is this a genuine upgrade disk that you have bought?

You will have to phone Microsoft and plead your case.
Did you buy it from a reputable source?
The distribution disk will have holograms on it.

"You can find your product key on the computer or inside the Windows package—or in a confirmation e‑mail if you purchased and downloaded Windows 7 online."

I remember now. I was going to download it, but I decided to buy the backup disk also. That's why it wasnt in the same packaging.
